Our Story
This location opened in 2019 as Campione’s Taste of Chicago. The concept was simple, a family of Chicago transplants missed their beloved Italian beef, hot dogs, pastas and more. Their solution? Open a restaurant!
Flash forward to 2022 when the Shukas family took the reins of the struggling store. The new owners, Tom and Lili Shukas, were born and raised in the Chicago-land area and made their move to Hendersonville, TN in 2010.
The family quickly grew roots in Sumner County and started a family. Four kids later, and in his 40’s, Tom began to rethink his career. Corporate life had him missing too many school events. He longed to be more involved in his children’s day-to-day lives and to grow a stronger connection with his community. A short time later prayers were answered, and the family had an opportunity to buy Campione’s Taste of Chicago!
We have a lot planned for 2024 and the first step to making it all happen is a new name – STALEYS. Same ownership, same amazing staff and an improved menu that offers all your favorites!
Our goal is to create a world-class experience true to our Chicago background and to be part of the community we now live in.
This isn't about being original or granny cooking in the kitchen. This is about good food, at good prices among family, friends and new acquaintances.
